A while back we came up with a recipe for the SoDelicious 3-Course Challenge for a Dairy Free Blue Cheese. It was good, but wasn’t quite the same as the blue cheese we were used to. It was more like ranch dressing. Still great, but not what we’d been hoping for. Where did we go wrong? Hard to say, but I think that having to counteract the sweetness of coconut hurt the overall flavor. What we’ll need is a new sauce base that is closer to the mayonnaise you’d typically use.
This is pretty amazingly easy. All you’ll need to do is combine the two ingredients in a food processor and mix until fully combined.
Trust us, this is super tasty and super close to the real thing.
