Product Review: Le Garden Grain Free Pizza Crust

photo 1Ingredients: Navy Bean Flour, Water, Potato Starch, Yeast, Salt, Agar, Guar Gum

Company Line: Artisan Pizza Crust – Soft yet crisp, this crust is fabulous topped with all of your favorite pizza toppings or a simple drizzle of olive oil and herbs.

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.  Top sauce with sauce and cheese.  Cook until cheese begins to brown and serve.  (Complicated… right?)

T’s Review: It’s a lucky thing that D has friends in Ithaca and that he stumbled on these fantastic little product when he was visiting his buddy K.  We need to try the rest of Le Garden’s products and do a full brand review.

D’s Review: Le Garden is a great little company and they ship.  You can visit their website to learn more.  The crust is thin but gets a nice crisp to it without being hard as a rock or too dense.  You do get a bit of the navy bean flavor to the crust but it’s such a mild flavor anyway that it’s not really a big deal.  For those with Celiacs, please note that these crusts are GRAIN FREE so it will serve those who can’t even manage rice-based flours.
